Be sure to attend the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Hammock.
This year's presentation is brought to you by the Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, and is about the birds of prey (or raptors) that inhabit the 90-acre Hammock Park.
We will be at the Dunedin Community Center on 1920 Pinehurst Road in Dunedin at 7pm.
Get up close and personal with live birds including a Great Horned Owl, a Screech Owl and a Red Shoulder Hawk. Learn about the characteristics of these raptors, get pointers on their bird calls and discover apps that will help you identify them.
